VIDEO TUTORIALS - x 2 Window Shatter Effect using nCloth and Automating workflow using MEL

Since the Nima Physx engine is no longer supported and the current Maya rigid bodies still have something left to be desired, we switch to nCloth to create a window shattering effect. I made an extra video tutorial for this to cover some of the things I missed and to demonstrate a technique in getting your expressions and work flow automated using “MEL”.

This tutorial comes with a complete script that creates the nCloth shapes, plus particles and centralizes the main editable attributes into one node. You can use it in your production work flow, in fact, I showed it to the TVC people upstairs where I work and they are going to use it for the next commercial!

This video tutorial is for Maya 2008.
